Holidays, anniversaries, and special events – sometimes called milestones or significant dates – can present unique challenges for people who are grieving the death of a loved one.

Such milestone dates can stir up overwhelming emotions: sadness, loneliness, anxiety, exhaustion, even the feeling of wanting to skip them altogether.

The ‘Surviving the Holidays’ seminar is designed to provide:
• Support – a safe space to share and connect with others who understand.
• Understanding – practical insights to help you face tough days with honesty and compassion.
• Tools – strategies to navigate emotions, family expectations, traditions, meals, decorations, shopping, and gatherings.

Where: Board Room, Crossway Admin Centre (LifeCare building), 709 Highbury Road, Burwood East

Cost: $25 – covers course manual and light refreshments (non-refundable for change of mind after the closing date.
