A unique opportunity.
One of our Crossway Kids children had been interested in baptism for some time now, but after discussing this with leaders, it was decided that she was a little too young at that time. However, recently she expressed interest again in being baptised. Our current isolation created a unique opportunity where she felt comfortable to be baptised in her own home (because of being shy she was reluctant to be baptised in the main auditorium in front of so many people). We were able to discuss baptism over Zoom with both mother and daughter and mum was able to walk her through the discover baptism booklet. So this morning, she was baptised by her mum in their home bath tub! A quote from mum: “it was a wonderful moment and a beautiful demonstration of God’s saving grace.”
