Gene Appel   Gene Appel is known to his friends and colleagues as a leader, creative Bible communicator, author and coach.    For eighteen years he was the senior pastor of Central Christian Church in Las Vegas. Under his leadership Central grew from 450 people to 8,000 in it’s services weekly.  During this period Central transitioned from a fairly traditional church to one that strategically focused on reaching and discipling non-churched people. Additionally, Central was significantly involved in church planting in the Vegas Valley.   More recently Gene served for five years at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Illinois where he was Lead Pastor providing focused vision, teaching, and leadership.   Recognized by many as a gifted leader with a passion for following Christ and a sensitivity for hurting people, Gene has coached church leaders from around the world on how to lead churches through healthy change.  He is co-author of the book, How to Change Your Church without Killing It, and authored Dream Intruders and Healing Hidden Hurts. Beyond his church responsibilities, he is an award winning television commentator for CBS2 in Chicago. Wayne Alcorn   Wayne Alcorn is the Senior Minister of Brisbane City Church, a growing inner city, multi-cultural Church in Queensland’s capital. He also serves in various leadership roles in the Australian Christian Churches. Using his unique abilities, he is committed to training and mentoring people to reach their full potential.
