Following Jesus - Changing the World

Jesus promises freedom and a life of abundance but many people face enduring obstacles. LifeEssentials programs address these issues to bring restoration and healing to people’s lives. People from all walks of life report great benefit from doing these courses.

Marriage preparation

Would you like to invest in your future marriage – this is for you! Marriage is so much more than your wedding day – it is the rest of your life! This course is designed to help you build a firm foundation on which to start the journey of marriage. It provides an opportunity for you both to grow together and to gain a better understanding of each another.

The Marriage Course

This course is for any married couple who want to work together and invest further in their relationship. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been married for less than two years or more than thirty. Over 8 weeks of candlelit dinners, great teaching and discussions as a couple, couples will be encouraged and given tools needed to continue building a healthy marriage that lasts a life time.

Search For Life

Many of us struggle with feelings of anxiety, inadequacy and low self-esteem. These destructive emotions affect our relationships at home, at work, and in the church. We will identify the cause of many human tensions and introduce you to keys that will lead to new freedom in your life - the healing power of love, acceptance and significance. The connection of truth to emotions and experience is what makes this course so life changing.

DivorceCare

When your marriage doesn’t end up as you had always dreamed, it is hard to cope. You have so many emotions and very little space in your life to deal with them, let alone get healing. DivorceCare is a group for those who are separated or divorced. This group will learn together the steps necessary for change, growth, and healing.

Door of Hope: abuse

Door of Hope is an encouraging and supportive program for women survivors of sexual abuse. In an environment of love, acceptance and confidentiality, participants are given the opportunity to develop new strategies for living, and find healing for pain, devastation and brokenness that comes from sexual abuse. Issues explored include: powerlessness and empowerment, shame and guilt, sexual healing, being loved, restoration of trust and building positive relationships.
